Photography has always been my escape, something that gives me great joy, and it recently dawned on me, what if my photography could make a difference? More importantly, what if a team of photographers' work could help those who may have never been given the opportunity to discover their talents and empower themselves.

The quote "No matter how small, start something that matters" resonated strongly with me and I felt that doing something, though small, could mean I could make an impact.

This is the result:

An exhibition by women for women - liberating girls to dream through education

Magnet Gallery, Bourke Street Melbourne

28th Oct - 6th November

Project details:

"Educate a girl, empower a nation"

Currently, 66 million girls around the world don't have access to education. Restricting their potential and putting them at risk of being stuck in the cycle of poverty. Every girl deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and have the chance to dream for their future. And together, we can give them that opportunity.

Bringing together a group of female photographers, this collective show will feature work drawing on the theme of "Another World". Whether it's a personal escape, or a mystical exploration, these pieces all carry ideas of dreaming, exploration and the strength of womankind.

All pieces are available for sale with all proceeds going to, an organisation that gives girls the opportunities to learn. $300 can give a girl a year's access to education and we're hoping to give that chance to many girls through our funds raised.

We believe that even a small idea can create a ripple effect and make a big change!
